Tapenade PDO Nyons – 90 g

Ingredients : Olive pulp from Nyons PDO (<95%), capers in vinegar (3%), anchovy cream (0.5%), lemon juice, herbs from Provence.

The Nyons PDO black olive tapenade is a specialty from Southern France that you can eat as an aperitif on toast rubbed with garlic, or by incorporating it directly into your dishes, where it will go perfectly with roasted whites meats and grilled fish.


« Tanche » is the emblematic variety of the « Pays de Nyons and the Baronnies Provençales ». It is the only variety that has been able to acclimatize so well in Drôme Provençale.


The black olive from Nyons is fleshy and « monk’s bure » color. It is characterized by dominant aromas of cloves, hazelnuts and undergrowth.


Harvested from December to January, the black olive from Nyons is finely wrinkled by the first frosts. This late harvest gives it its sweetness.


Product to keep : Protected from light and heat. Keep cool after opening.

The black olive from Nyons PDO, of the “Tanche” variety only, comes from our olive trees in Vinsobres. Placed in brine (water and salt), the olives are kept for a minimum of 6 months to remove bitterness. The olives will then become candied and reveal fruity aromas and undergrowth, offering roundness and smoothness to the tasting.
